Just got done reading the first book and am very excited for the movie release. This was a very well written book with a TRON like feel, with parts of Mad Max, meets Blade Runner and LOTR mixed together. I hope the movie is on target with book, as it needed no touching up. It paints the picture of Catniss' world perfectly without over-exagerrating the fantasy sci-fi... almost a fantasy/post apocalyptic/medieval thriller... of course. There should be a section just for that in every book store :)
